From New York:

  1. Hutchinson River Pkwy. to Rt. 684
  2. Rt. 684 North for 29 miles which becomes Rt. 22
  3. Follow Rt. 22 for 75 miles to Rt. 102. The turn off for Rt 102 is 4.6 miles after the village of Austerlitz).  Make a right onto Rt 102
  4.  Follow Rt. 102 (bridge over the Mass Pike) 2.5 miles until you arrive at a tee junction.  Turn right at the flashing traffic light
  5. Drive through the village of West Stockbridge past the Rt. 41 junction on the right.  The house is on the left with a full front deck and a large white corral.

From Boston:

  1. Take Mass Turnpike to exit 1.
  2. Bear right off the exit ramp onto Rt. 41
  3. Turn right onto Rt. 102 at the T-junction, and we are the second house on the left with the white corral.

From Connecticut:

  1. Take Rt. 7 North into Massachusetts.
  2. Follow Rt. 7 into the village of Stockbridge
  3. At the main intersection in Stockbridge (Red Lion Inn is on the right) turn left.  Go 1/2 mile to Rt. 102
  4. Turn right onto Rt. 102 and follow it for 4 miles.
  5. After you pass the Pleasant Valley on your left, you will see the white corral of our house on the right.  The entrance to the circular drive is past the corral and two pasture entry fences.  If you enter the village of West Stockbridge, you have gone too far.

Train Service

An Amtrak service running between Boston, MA and Chicago, IL stops at Pittsfield.  The station is located at Depot Street between North and Center Street.

Rail / Bus Service

Metro North, on weekends between June & September, have a train that runs from Grand Central Station, NY to Wassaic, NY with a connecting bus to Great Barrington.  The total time taken is approximately three hours.
